Rev. Dr. Antoine D. Barlow is a native son of the Sweet Pilgrim M.B. Church in Bukatunna, MS. Immediately following High School, Barlow joined the Mississippi Army National Guard in 1992. Following his military training, he enrolled at Alcorn State University to pursue his dream of becoming a History teacher. Dr. Barlow’s academic achievements include the Bachelor of Science in History as well, as, a Master of Science in Secondary Education from Alcorn State University. Barlow holds a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Wesley Biblical Seminary in Jackson, MS, a Master of Divinity from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA and the Doctorate of Ministry from Beulah Heights University in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Barlow’s dissertation was entitled, A Comprehensive African American Church Intervention to decrease the Achievement Gap between Black and White Males.

Vocationally, Dr. Barlow serves as Chief of Chaplains at the Federal Correctional Complex in Yazoo City, MS.  He is military veteran and U.S. Army Chaplain Colonel retired from the Mississippi Army National Guard.  Dr. Barlow accepted his call to the gospel ministry in 2005, and his first pastorate in 2008.  Dr. and Mrs. Marisa Barlow are the proud parents of Ken, Reagan Nicole, and Ryan Nicole. Dr. Barlow’s long-term goal is to finish his race well enough to hear God say, well done!

Dr. Barlow is a member of Sollie B. Norwood Masonic Lodge #699, Prince Hall Affiliation, Jackson Consistory #117, the United Supreme Council 33rd degree, a Lifetime member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc and member of the 100 Black Men of Canton, MS.
